Bubble Church is a Sunday church service especially for babies, toddlers, and young families. It's a puppet-packed, Jesus-centred, coffee-and-croissant-fuelled, 30 minute kids and families adventure every Sunday!

Here's the deal: you turn up at 9:15 am for a croissant or pain au chocolat and a coffee, then when the service starts you'll be guided to a 'bubble', and you and your little ones will share in 30 mins of song, story, puppets, and prayer.

We have limited spaces available, so make sure you sign up your bubble in advance!

We have several groups to suit different ages.

We are very fortunate to have Claudia and Natasha as our children and youth workers.

Our Vision at St Martin’s Parish Church is to see God’s love transform our lives, our community and our world.

Following this, our vision for the youth is:

  • That every young person in our parish and beyond would have the opportunity to experience God’s transformative love for them.
  • That this would change their lives and stay with them always.
  • And give them hope and encourage them to live for more.

How we want to do this is through meeting God, making friends and having fun. This includes hanging out together (usually around food), trying new things, asking big questions and connecting with each other in everyday life.

8am

Our 8am service is a short traditional Book of Common Prayer spoken communion service. It’s a perfect time for quiet reflection to start the week ahead and for fixing our eyes upon our Heavenly Father.

9.15am

Our Bubble Church service is a puppet-packed, Jesus-centred, coffee-and-croissant fuelled, 30 minute kids and families adventure (held in the Community Centre).

10am

Our 10am service is best described as a blend of relaxed formality. We gather together to sing hymns and worship, engage with the sermon and share in Holy Communion. We celebrate Communion every week.  This service is a great place for those who are new to faith or are simply exploring what faith might mean for them. 

During our services a creche is available for babies and toddlers and we share in tea and coffee afterwards.

6:30pm

Our 6:30pm service is a service of Choral Evensong. This service offers the opportunity to pause before the beginning of a new week, to pray, to sing hymns and to listen to a short sermon.  The service usually lasts around 40 minutes.
